"Rerouting the transport grid to avoid detection was wise," Data said, as Picard swung around to stare at him. "But the transporter is rarely used after ohtwo hundred hours."

Beside the android stood Deanna Troi; Beverly Crusher; Geordi La Forge with his soft, dark eyes; Commander Worf, and Will Riker.

All but Riker and La Forge were out of uniform; in a flash, Picard
